To integrate your renewable energy system (PV, biogas, or wind power) into LUOX Energy’s aggregation model, timely submission of your registration data is essential. The following deadlines will help you plan your aggregation start date effectively. For additional technical and regulatory requirements, refer to our knowledge article Requirements for Aggregation.
Deadlines for Registering for Aggregation
These deadlines allow for timely registration and ensure that you can take full advantage of LUOX Energy’s aggregation offering. For technical requirements, refer to our article on Requirements for Aggregation.
Legal Deadlines for Switching over into Aggregation
- Switch within market premium aggregation: Entry must be received no later than 10 working days before the planned change.
- Switch from market premium aggregation to other aggregation: Entry must be received no later than 1 month before the planned change.
- Switch from other aggregation to market premium aggregation: Entry must be received no later than 1 month before the planned change.
- Switch within other aggregation: Entry must be received no later than 1 month before the planned change.
- Switch from EEG remuneration to aggregation (market premium or other): Entry must be received no later than 1 month before the planned change.
- Switch from EEG remuneration to compensation for curtailment: Entry must be received no later than 1 month before the planned change.
Deadlines for Enabling Remote Controllability
To participate in LUOX Energy’s aggregation model, your renewable energy system (PV, biogas, or wind) must be equipped with a functioning remote control system. This enables LUOX Energy to monitor and control your feed-in at any time. Without remote controllability, participation is not possible. Therefore, this requirement is closely linked to the registration deadline. For technical specifications, refer to the article Requirements for Aggregatio.
Special Rules for New Installations
For new installations, the deadline for proving remote controllability begins with the commissioning date of the system in accordance with Section 10b of the EEG 2023. Proof must be provided by the start of the second calendar month after commissioning. Note: This applies regardless of when aggregation begins. If you are switching to LUOX Energy from another aggregator, the remote control proof must be submitted immediately after the switch.
To avoid delays and possible revenue losses, we recommend making the system controllable as early as possible.
Proof of Remote Controllability
To verify remote controllability, the following documents are required:
- Installation certificate: Issued by your system installer, confirming the installation date of the remote control system.
- Test protocol: LUOX Energy conducts a test protocol to confirm that remote control works correctly. This protocol should be available by the aggregation start date, as it documents the remote control commissioning date and ensures full compensation.
A later submission of the test protocol is possible as long as the commissioning date is before the start of aggregation. However, we do not recommend this, as a failed test could require adjustments, delay the start, and result in reduced market premium payments or penalties by the grid operator.
Important Notes on Deadline Calculations
- Public holidays are not considered working days and must be excluded from calculations. We recommend registering early to avoid potential delays.
- LUOX Energy is obligated to process any registration within five working days of receiving complete and correct registration data and documents. However, LUOX Energy cannot guarantee that the grid operator will implement the registration on time.
Calculate Earnings
Use LUOX Energy’s earnings calculator to estimate the additional revenue your system could earn through aggregation, along with expected costs. You can then easily conclude your aggregation contract online.
