In the LUOX Portal (also available as an app), you can keep track of the dynamic tariff. The current market electricity price, which is passed on to you with a small 3% markup, is continuously updated there.
You can manage your contract and adjust personal information, giving you full transparency and control over your energy consumption and electricity costs.
How the pricing model works
Our pricing model is simple and transparent. It is based on the hourly market electricity prices plus a minimal 3% markup. This allows you to benefit from low market prices and effectively reduce your energy costs. By flexibly adapting to market prices, you can optimize your energy consumption strategies and achieve significant cost savings. In addition, we charge only a small monthly fee. We guarantee that procurement costs will be waived for 2024 and 2025. Moreover, the reduced grid fees you receive under §14a for heat pumps, electric vehicles, and electricity storage are already being passed on to you – allowing you to save an additional €140 per year with LUOX Dynamisch when using these consumers. Sign up for the dynamic tariff for your household connection with an intelligent metering system (iMSys). Flexible consumers such as heat pumps, wall boxes and batteries can also be recorded through the meter, as well as the feed-in from a PV system. If the consumption of your heat pump or wall box is measured via a separate meter, you currently cannot sign a contract for these meters. If you don't have an iMSys yet, simply purchase one during the ordering process.

If you don't have IMSys yet, you first start with the LUOX Fix transitional plan, and then automatically switch to the LUOX Dynamic tariff as soon as the IMsys is installed and correctly configured. Here you can find more information about the switch.

Customers use a smart meter (iMSys) to accurately measure their energy consumption and optimize it based on fluctuating prices. This allows them to purchase electricity more cheaply during low-price periods and thus reduce energy costs while promoting the use of renewable energy.
Electricity market prices are influenced by numerous factors. These include political events at home and abroad, the general availability of and demand for electricity at specific times of day or year, as well as other economic and weather-related influences.
The basic metering point operator (grundzuständiger Messstellenbetreiber) is responsible for operating, replacing and reading the electricity meter - unless you have commissioned another operator to handle metering. Starting January 1, 2025, this operator is obligated to install a smart metering system at the customer’s request.
